BOOMj.com, Inc. takes great pride in our reputation for selling quality name brand merchandise with excellent price value. If you have purchased merchandise from us that is incorrect or defective please read the following:

We will refund your online purchase if you return the product in its original carton including your packing slip and a completed return form. All merchandise returns must be returned within 30 days of the original delivery date. Items that are approved for return after 30 days from delivery will receive a partial refund. If you need to return an item, contact customer service.

Refunds will be issued in the form of the original payment. If a credit card was used for payment a refund usually is made 3-5 business days after confirmation of your return. If your payment came directly from your bank account (debit card) it could take up to 10 business days.

Please note: shipping charges are not refundable. However, if the return is a result of our error (receipt of an incorrect or defective item) then return shipping costs will be paid by BOOMj.com . All refund notifications are made via e-mail.

Product Specific Refund Policy

Books, CDs, cassettes and DVDs
Refund or exchange will be generated:

• If your book, CD, cassette or DVD has not been opened.
• Make sure your original packing slip, completed merchandise return form (and exchange form if needed) are included.
• All merchandise returns must be returned within 30 days of the original shipment date listed on the packing slip.
• Please no COD shipments.

Please note:

• Shipping fees are not refundable unless the return is due to our error or is damaged or defective.
• All returns are refunded in the form of original payment.

Office Supplies
Refund or exchange will be generated:

• If your office supplies have not been opened.
• Make sure your original packing slip and a completed merchandise return and exchange form is included.
• All merchandise returns must be returned within 30 days of the original shipment date listed on the packing slip.
• Please no COD shipments.

Please note:

Furniture
Refund or exchange will be generated:

• If in new condition, unassembled and in original carton with UPC code.
• Make sure your original packing slip and a completed merchandise return and exchange form is included.
• All merchandise returns must be returned within 30 days of the original shipment date listed on the packing slip.
• Please no COD shipments.

Technology
Technology: due to the rapid change of technology; laptop, desktop computers, multimedia projectors, PDAs, handheld computers and digital cameras can only be exchanged for the same item within the companyÕs 30 day exchange period. Refund or exchange will be generated:

• If your laptop, desktop computers, multimedia projectors, PDAs, handheld computers and digital camera has not been opened.
• Make sure your original packing slip and a completed merchandise return and exchange form is included.
• All merchandise returns must be returned within 30 days of the original shipment date listed on the packing slip.
• Please no COD shipments.

Non-returnable Merchandise

• Laptop computers, desktop computers that are 30 days past delivery date.
• Any product that is missing the serial number, UPC code, original instruction manuals or packing slip.
• Gift certificates.

Exchanges

If the merchandise you purchased was received damaged, in error or is defective your merchandise will be exchanged for the like merchandise. Follow the steps in the return section for complete instructions.

Partial Refunds

• Books showing signs of wear.
• CDs, DVD, VHS that have been opened or are not in original packaging.
• Laptop and desktop computers that have been opened will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
• Merchandise that shows clear signs of use or not returned in the condition it was received.

Merchandise Purchased and Returned after 30 days

Merchandise that was purchased and delivered 30 days or more will not be on the master list of orders eligible for return. Those orders will only receive a partial refund.

Recycling Fee (CA residents only)

Effective January 1, 2005, California law requires collection of a recycling fee for laptop computers, LCD and CRT desktop monitors. This fee is expected to cover the cost of recycling the material at the end of its life, as these products have been deemed hazardous and unfit to landfill. For more information, click here.
